A Week to Remember!

Please take a note of the following dates: 12th-18th September 2016.

Why do we say that? Well, yes, the kids do go back to school in September but something else important is happening! It is the official Recycle Week 2016. With each year more emphasis is being put on this important week, both for kids and adults. If you have children, why not make this an exciting week. With the help of the internet, numerous social media forums and websites have created free downloads for fun recycling activities. Local councils are also creating some activities for their community.

A Date for New Goals?

How a Green Johanna works

If recycling has been on your mind and you haven’t yet put some household waste recycling actions into place, this week will be a good kick start! How about putting some time aside to discover how other people go about reducing their household and food waste and turn it into recycling. Some even turn it into compost to recycle again in their garden. All of us find committing to recycling challenging at times, but like the kids we can learn how to make it fun. Many of the things we throw away in our household waste are able to be recycled and used creatively to make other things.
