The new 180 litre geared twin compost tumbler by Maze is suitable for all garden sizes and transforms food waste and garden refuse into rich, nutrient-dense compost with next to no effort.
The tumbler's two compartments enable continuous composting. When the first compartment is full, simply start on the second. Once this side is full the first side is ready to empty, and the cycle continues.
The gear and handle system ensures easier turning of the drum with the geared ratchet able to automatically lock rotation in any position. The ratchet can also be deactivated.
The tumbler's large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost, with plenty of room for a compost cart or bucket to slide in underneath.
The barrel is rotatable to a face-down position, allowing the doors to slide open for compost to fall into a cart.
The strong reinforced barrel is UV-protected and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The frame is manufactured from zinc-coated steel for longevity.
